"MDA" is the former SOVIET republic Moldova, isn't it?

0-2 at half time. I guess it was loud in the cabin. ;-)

First leg was 3-2, IIRC. So 5-4 on aggregate.

This is wrong. The first leg was won by Debreceni VSC 3-0, so Agg is 8-0.

Yes, but he meant they'll have a "Yugo" derby against Artmedia.
Tchau!

So you are like George Bush, mixing up Slovenia and Slovakia? ;-)

FC Sheriff is from MOLDOVA ( Former soviet rep.) and will take on
Artmedia from Slovakia.
None of them are '' yougo''

Ah, well...
But PARTIZAN qualified!
Tchau!

Oh, right! Artmedia are from SLOVAKIA, not SLOVENIA!
So let's forget all about this Yugoslavian derby thing.
Tchau!

I was thinking of MKD (the Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia). Of
course, MDA is a hell of a lot closer to MaceDoniA than MKD, as I am
personally not seeing a "K" anywhere in their long, politically-correct
name. Who the hell came up with these alphabet soup abbreviations, any ways?
Besides, wouldn't MAC or MOL have been better choices?

Well, "C" and "K" are close... but as you said: a lot of politics is
involved here...
BTW: I remembered the nice name "Sheriff", but I was sure not before
seeing "MKD" elsewhere on your list.

BTW: Thanks for posting all this info. It's fun to read about minor and
major upsets here, for instance the Anorthosis Famagusta - Trabzonspor
thing. Especially after the latest Turkish diplomatic offense by not
acknowledging Cyprus when 'signing' the European Union customs treaty. :-)

Republika Makedonija

MAC is used already - so it would be a terrible choice.
